BTM Engineering, Inc. teamed with JRA Architecture on a 40,000 – square foot facility located on a 4.5 acre wooded tract in southern Jefferson County Ky. The approach to the development was to the minimize the environmental impact while maximizing the use of the natural landscape. Through innovative site design, preservation of over 1 acre of existing woodlands and park-like setting allows patrons to enjoy the landscape. The project received LEED Gold certification through this philosophy as well as use of other green initiatives: Subsurface Detention System, Pervious Paver Parking and Green Roof.
